Maybelline Colour Tattoo 24 Hour Eyeshadow in Light in Purple

Maybelline 24hr Colour Tattoo Eyeshadow in Light in Purple, £4.99 link

The Maybelline 24hr Colour Tattoo Cream Eyeshadows are a huge hit over blogs worldwide. They are probably the best drugstore alternative for MAC paint pots and they have a  nice shade range as well.  I really wish some of the shades and collections that have been released in the states make in over to the UK at some point because while the shade range is nice here, it would be nice to have some more netural colours to work with.

Today, I bring you a quick review and pictures of the shade Light in Purple. Light in Purple is a multi-dimensional duo-chrome like colour, and in different lights and at different angles you can pick up lilacs, pinks and silver amoungst the dominant blue base.

The gel-cream forumla is consistant with the other shades in the range, but I find the pigmentation and amount of sparkle/shimmer in the colour to be similar to that of Eternal Gold. It can pack a punch when swatched or patted on to the lid, but after blending you are left with a sheerer colour that can go a little patchy. I don't mind that too much because I use this under other shadows but if you plan to wear this alone, it is worth keeping that in mind.

Overall, I love the Maybelline Colour Tattoos, but this shade isn't my favourite.  I like the effect it can give but I love shades like Endless Black and On and On Bronze just that bit more because they are great used alone and blended out, on top of being bases, whereas this shade and shades like Eternal Gold can be patchy when worn alone.

They are a bargain at only £4.99, and you can always find the on some sort of offer whether that be BOGO half off or 3 for 2. You can find the shade Light in Purple here if you fancy purchasing it.

Thanks for reading, and have a lovely  day

Maybelline Lust List | Elixers, Brow Drama and Lots of Lashes

I love shopping in the drugstore, and I love watching hauls on youtube. So, from my love of cheap makeup and my love of hauls, this little post was born. They are very much like Wish Lists but to mix it up a little I'm calling it a Lust List (ohh I know, so original :p). Enjoy the 5 things I've been lusting after from Maybelline.
maybeline

Great Lash Lots of Lashes
I haven't tried the original great lash mascara but the wand of the Great Lash Lots of Lashes looks intriguing and is something I would love to try. This, unfortunately, isn't avalible in the UK, but I think I'll search ebay to see if I can find a new tube for a decent price and shipping fee. If you have tried this, please let me know if it worth trying to find.
Price:$4.44 Link

Master Hi-Light by Face Studio
I don't often wear blush on a day to day to basis, but I do love a good highlight.  I wear it without fail everyday to bring light and some dimension to my face. The idea of these blush/highlight combos really intrigues me. I think they can add the highlight effect I love and add a little bit of colour to the cheeks that you naturally have as the colder months draw in. I hope these launch over in UK soon so I can give them a try.
Price: $7.94 Link

Brow Drama Brow Gel
I've been getting into brows a lot lately. The more I play with them the more I realise how much they can make or break a look. I've been trying to find the perfect combo of products like a pencil and gel or powder and wax. I haven't quite found anything holy grail yet but I have heard some good things about this gel so I really want to give it a go. I think I might have to pick up the dark blonde shade next time I head into a Boots or Superdrug store and Maybelline is on offer.
Price:£4.99 Link

Maybelline Colour Elixirs by Colour Sensational Lip Colours
I have been seeing these colour gloss beauties on american beauty channels for ages, and now they have finally launched in the UK. They are on BOGO half off in Superdurg at the moment so I think I'm going to have a swatch of the colours and see which two would be best for me. From the 1 I've swatched so far they seem conditioning, glossy, pigmented and long lasting. Let me know if you have tried these, and what you think. Should I get two next time I'm in town?
Price:£6.99 Link: Not Online Yet

Big Eyes Volum' Express Mascara
I love a good mascara, and I'm a bit like a mascara floozy. I never really get the same one twice, so on my mascara trails I would love to try this. I like that you get two different wands, and can use them for different effects. I normally love maybelline mascaras so I think I'll like this, so next time I see it on offer I think I'll snap it up.

Top 10: Maybelline

maybelline favourites

Maybelline is one of my favourite drugstore brands, second only to Rimmel. It has some amazing products that are cheap and they are worth every penny and more. I have shared a few other top picks from some drugstore brands so far on my blog (Rimmel and L'Oreal if you fancy giving those posts a read) and I wanted to continue on and showcase one of my favourite brands.

So, without further or do, here are my top 10 Maybelline picks (they aren't in order by the way. It was hard enough picking 10, let alone putting them in order):

1) Dream Fresh BB Cream
I love this BB Cream, and it is one of my all time favourites. I think I like the Rimmel BB Cream a little more because it has a little more coverage but if you need something that can even out skintone, correct redness and hydrate the skin this BB cream is for you. It doesn't have the highest coverage, and it isn't going to perform miracles but it's a nice western BB Cream. I use this alone with a higher coverage powder or concealer, or I use it as tinted primer under foundations. It works great in both ways, and for only £7.99 it's really worth it.

2) Master Drama Kohl Eyeliners
If you want something cheap, that is going to perform like the Urban Decay 24/7 Glide on Liners then look no further. These Master Drama Kohl eyeliners are pigmented, long lasting and really creamy. They don't tug on the eye in any ways. They blend well if you want to smudge them out but they set and last all day. I use them on my waterliner and as liner along my top lashes and I can't fault them. They are about £4.99 I think, and they have a few colours. They only thing I wish they would do is release more of a shade range.

3) Colossal Volume Express Cat Eye Mascara
I love the colossal volume express cat eye mascara because it gives a bit of everything. The curved brush does help with curl, the formula is really black and stays put really well and you get length and volume. It's not as voluminous as some of the other mascaras from Maybelline like the Falsies or the new Go Extreme Volume Express. It does give better separation  and length than those formulas though. The packaging is nice, much like all other maybelline mascaras and it's no to expensive either.

4) Instant Age Rewind Eraser Concealer
I really like the Instant age rewind concealer, and would love to try the radiant shade they have in the US. I like the packaging, even with the sponge that so many complain about. I prefer the sponge to the brush tip applicators on concealers like the Dream Lumi. I like the formula because it covers, stays put, doesn't crease (on me at least) and it matches my skin tone. I find it great for under my eyes, for redness and on blemishes, and I find it works really well over most foundations. It's £7.99, so similar to other under eye concealers and it is free from shimmer and glitter too which I love.

5) Dream Satin Liquid Foundation
The dream satin liquid foundation is one of my all time favourite foundations, probably coming 3rd after double wear from Estee Lauder and Wake Me Up from Rimmel. I really like the shade light porcelain, but I can pull of Ivory too. The undertones are great for my skin, but for someone with really yellow undertones the shades might not work brilliantly for you. The formula is quite thick, but it doesn't feel cakey on the skin. It covers my redness really well, gives a nice dewy (but no to shiny) finish and with a light dusting of powder I find it stays in place all say. It layers well with concealers and blushes etc without caking up and it's only £7.99.

6) Eye Studio Gel Eyeliner
The gel eyeliner is the best gel liner I've tried from the  drugstore. I like the packaging, the brush and the formula. It is really pigmented, long lasting, non-irritating on the waterline and tight liner and glides on. It is really creamy, and fluid enough to create a nice line free of bumps. The packaging is a nice frosted glass jar with a sophisticated sliver top, the brush allows you to create a thin or thicker line on the top lash line and it does work for placing product on the water/tight line.

7) Baby Lips Lip Balms
I love the baby lips range from Maybelline. The balms give you a sheer tint of colour, smell lovely, look super cute and don't dry out the lips. I can't say that they are the best lip balms for solving dry lip issues, but the coloured formulas are nice if you do have chapped lips. The red (cherry me) is my favourite, with the peach kiss being a close second.  They both smell amazing, and taste good too. They are super cheap, and great for lip product newbs and for those who want something more sheet.

8) Mega Plush Volume Express Mascara
Maybelline Maga Plush might be my favourite Maybelline mascara. It has a huge wand, and it is quite flexible. The brush is bristle, rather than plastic spikes. It is almost oval in shape, with the tip and base being smaller than the centre. It stays on my lashes all day, without flaking or smudging. It's a nice black colour, and gives my lashes good length and volume. It holds a curl, even though it's not waterproof and it doesn't clump them up at all.

9) Fit Me Concealer
The Fit Me Concealer is one of the best I've ever tried. My all time favourite is the Collection Lasting Perfection Concelear, but this is a close second. It isn't quite as long lasting as the Collection, but it doesn't dry as matte as the Colleciton. I can use this on blemishes, redness and under my eyes, whereas the collection alternative cannot be used under my eyes. The only thing I have to complain about is the shade range but I can just about get shade 15 to work for me so I can't complain to much. It covers well, lasts ages, doesn't cake up and is really cheap.

10) Colour Tattoo 24 Hour Cream Eyeshadows
I'm not sure that I need to day anything about these because everyone and their little puppy have raved about these. They are long lasting coloured cream eyeshadows that can be used alone or as a base for other shadows. They are a nice gel-cream forumla, nicely pigmented and last all day without creasing. I will say that if it is really hot, and I haven't set them with something I can see a little creasing but that is very rare. I wish the UK has more of the US colour selection, and I can't wait to try and get my hands on some matte shades.

Top "waterliner" Pencils | Nyx, Maybelline and More

I think lining your waterline finishes a look. It really brings my eye makeup together and can help create a more complete look. I used to stick with just black but after some experimentation I've found that adding some colour there can really make a neutral look just a little more interesting.

So, with that in mind I wanted to bring you a post on my top waterliner pencils. I have 5 favourites at the moment and they are all mostly affordable. I tend not to spend to much money on high end liners because the drugstore ones are so darn good. Anyway, lets get on with talking about the liners.

Collection Work The Colour Eyeshadow Pencil in Denim Diva, Soap and Glory Smolder Kohl in Grapevine, Nyx Slide On pencil in Golden Olive, Lancome LeCrayon Kohl Eyeliner in Noir , Maybelline Master Drama in Ultra Black.
Collection Work The Colour Eyeshadow Pencil in Denim Diva, £3.19, link
I love these pencils from collection. They are thicker than your average liner because they are meant to be eyeshadow pencils. That being said, I love to use these on my waterline because they do NOT move! The blue is enough of a pop for me on the eyes and I love how easy these pencils go on and how well they stay in place.

Soap and Glory Smolder Kohl in Grapevine, £5.00, link
I snapped this pencil up in a Christmas gift set. In the boxing day day sale it was only £9.50 for 5 soap and glory liners. This is my favourite of the bunch, but all of them are lovely smooth, pigmented liners. Unfortunately, it seems this colour was only available in the set but the black and brown are only £5 and are just as great.

Nyx Slide On Waterproof Pencil in Golden Olive, £7.50, link I picked this up on sale sometime after hearing the beauty guru community of youtube raved about these pencils. The Nyx Slide On pencils are like gel liner in a pencil forms. They glide on the waterline and stay for a pretty decent amount of time.  I love the olive colour of this pencil because it's different from the usual black or brown but isn't to bright of a colour to make in unwearable.

Lancome LeCrayon Khol Eye Liner in Noir, £18.50, link
I love this liner for everyday use because it's not crazy black. It had a more traditional pencil texture but doesn't pull at the skin or hurt when you apply. It's not as creamy as the other liners here but it is soft enough to use in the waterline. It looks great used on the waterline and slightly under the eye for a smokey look, and lasts a decent amount of time.

Maybelline Master Drama Cream Eyeliner Pencil in Ultra Black, £4.49, link
This cream eyeliner is one of the best I've found. It is creamy, but doesn't melt to much. It can be smudged a little but it sets in place when you need it to not budge. It is really black as well which is another total win for the Master Drama liner.

July Favourites: HD Brows, Blood Brothers and Shane Dawson

So, it's August! How the hell did that happen? I swear it seems like it was New Years like 3 hours ago. I can't be dealing with time moving this fast! Anyway, now I've done the obligatory intro that everyone does, I'm going to get on with my July favourites.

Makeup and Hair

HD Brows Blusher (2) and Bronzer (2)

I've recently reviewed these, and since posting the reviews it's brought them to my attention again. I've been loving the blusher for adding a healthy and glowy flush to the skin, and the bronzer is great for contouring the face lightly and adding warmth to the skin tone. They both work for my pale skin, which is great and they last all day on my skin.

Le Kair Natural Carrot Oil Cholesterol Creme

I featured this in a haul post quite some time a go and also have a review up which you can read here. I brought this from a site that focused on Afro-Caribbean hair products, and fell in love. I've recently rediscovered this after trying out some other conditioners and realized how much I love it. I've used this as a hair mask and a leave in conditioner and it works well as both. It helps tame frizz, nourish hair and it doesn't smell awful either. It's also ridiculously cheap.

Maybelline BB Cream in Light

I think it's law that in summer, you must ditch foundation and head to the BB cream (or even CC creams now). Following the crowd, as I normally do, I ditched my believed Estee Lauder foundation that I normally wear every day and tried getting used to a bb cream. I've been loving this because the finish is great for my dry skin, and I've been using this when I'm not at work. I can't quite leave my Double Wear behind for work because I need to something to cover and last.

B. Eyeshadow Palette in Glisten

I've been loving subtle neutral eyes recently. I used to love super dark and intense eyes but for the summer I've been trying to ditch the black (it's really hard) and go with nice summery colours. These shadows are great for creating a nice eyeshadow look that you can see on the eyes but it's as harsh as some of my winter looks can be. The rusty brown colour is my favourite, but all of them together create a great look.

 Youtube

I've recently got right back into watching YouTube videos. I have gotten a better internet connection at home, and without uni I have spare time (too much!). I've been subscribed to Shane Dawson for ages, but I've never watched one of his videos.  I've started watching them, as despite the slightly offensive humour I find him hilarious. I prefer his vlog videos but he's a funny duck in just about all of them, vlog or main.

Music

I've recently discovered TwentyForSeven on YouTube. I don't know how I haven't been subscribed to them for ages but I'm not officially addicted to their music.  I found them after watching their very popular cover of Bruno Mars' When I Was Your Man but my all time favourite from them has to be the cover of Bad by The Cab or the 2012 Mash Up Song

I've always rediscovered my absolute love for the Foo Fighters. Wasting Light has got to be one of my favourite albums EVER.

Books

This month I've read (or at least started reading) two books! One I read in about 2 days at the end of the month. Blood Brothers is a very popular musical (I'm planning on writing up a post for my very new Book Blog) and was written by Willy Russell. I finally got a hold of a copy of this in book form and read it in two days. It's just as amazing in book form as it is on stage, and I highly suggest going to see it or reading it.

I've also been loving the latest addition to the Bloodlines series, which is a spin off of the Vampire Academy series. The Bloodlines series focuses more on Alchemists than vampires, but it just as great as the original series. I'm on the third book and am loving it. It might be worth checking out if you like YA reads.

Exciting New Drugstore Makeup Releases (UK Edition)

One Direction Makeup Line MUA

So, I'm sure nearly every young girl and blogger now knows about this next release and have just about wet themselves over it. One Direction are releasing a capsule makeup line with bargain makeup brand MUA (Makeup Academy). The line is called Little things and feature lip balms, lipsticks and nail polish all apparently inspired by the cult boy band.

Please don't shot me, but I don't get the one direction phenomenon but I am a HUGE fan of MUA so I'd love to see if the standard is just a high as they currently are or if the One Direction name is going to carry the collection.

One Direction Makeup Line MUA

The Lipsticks look pretty awesome and are probably what I'm going to try and get my hands on. I hope, working where they sell MUA, that I could possibly get my hands on it before the prepubescent girls run in store screaming. I kind of hope I'm lying about that but you never know. We had a Justin Bebier stand when his fragrance launched first time around, and no word of a lie there were 13 - 15 year olds kissing the cardboard cut out and some evern went as far as to simulate giving the PIECE OF CARD and blow job while someone else filmed it on their smart phone.

WHAT?!?!?!?!

I just cannot even...

Maybelline Baby Lips UK Release

Baby Lips. They have finally reached the UK and everyone is going a little mental. We put them out at work the other day and one girl actually screamed at them. I wish I was exaggerating or lying, but I'm not. She just about had a melt down and brought every shade/treatment type, even after I told her that if she waited until Wednesday, she would get them cheaper as Maybelline is going on 3 for 2 in Superdrug from then.

Anyway, they are here and I'm assume all bloggers are going to go bat crap crazy over them like the Americans did. They are good, I have two, but not quite worth the INSANE hype they have buzzing around them.

Revlon Lash Potion Mascara

Revlon, a brand that everyone loves at least one thing from, has a new mascara releasing. The Lash Potion has been out in the states for sometime I think but it's just hitting stores in the UK and I think I might give it a go. I've never tried as mascara from the brand so this might my first foray into that. The packaging looks really nice, I love the name and I've heard some great things about it.

Mabybelline Fit Me Shine Free Foundation Stick UK

I'm shocked the Maybelline Fit Me Foundation Stick is hitting the UK so quick after hitting the US market. WE had to wait so long for some of the most hyped up things like the aforementioned Baby Lips and Colour Tattoos. It even took quite a while for the Fit Me Range to reach this little island but the Fit Me Shine Free Foundation stick is already here. I'm not sure if I'm going to invest because the reviews I've seen haven't hated on it but they haven't raved about it either. I'll wait for the tester in-store and see what it's like!

I'm sure there are many more releases hitting the UK drugstores/highstreet soon but these stood out to me. I know L'Oreal have some more colours of their False Lash Flutter mascara that are meant to enhance certian eye colours but I hate the wand so I won't be checking those out.  Bourjois' version of the Lip Butters from Revlon are hitting the shelves if they haven't already and they are really nice. I've tried some of the testers are work, and they are even better than I thought they would be.

Thanks for reading :)

Friday Favourite: Maybelline BB Cream in Medium

I wanted to start a new feature on my blog every Friday, and it's going to be a short 1 paragraph post that features my favourite product of the week. This week I've chosen the Maybelline BB Cream in Medium

With summer just around the corner, I'm trying to put away my full coverage foundation and trying to get used to seeing my skin with a lighter coverage product on it. This BB cream is brilliant, and my favourite of all the ones I've tried. It's lightweight, light coverage and comes in a nice range of colours. I've used both the light and medium and they both work great for me. It's also a great tinted primer under other foundations.

You can pick up the Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream here for just £7.99.

Up and Coming *Exciting* Products...

I'm always exciting when new things hit the shelf! I have no self control so I start buying, and therefore blogging  about them and I get lots of new things to play with.

With that in mind, I'm going to start doing a monthly post about new products that are hitting our UK shelves so maybe you can keep and eye out and squeal over them like I do.

Bourjois Cream Blushes & Bronzing Primer

With summer just around the corner (hopefully) cream blushes are in and powder blushes are out. Bourjois, famous for their baked blushes, are bringing out some fabulous cream blushes. They come in 4 shades - a matte peach, a pearly apricot pink, a pearly soft pink and a matte brown pink. They are a creamy to powder formula that claim to blend easily over the skin and carry the signature rose fragrance that comes with their signature rose fragrance. They hit Boots on May 15th if you want to get your mitts on them.

I'm also eagerly awaiting the release of their bronzing primer. I love the flower primer from the brand, and the bronzing one is said to have a similar formula. So a great primer alongside a possible dupe for the Chanel Bronze Universal. This comes out in Boots at the beginning of June, and hits Superdrug in July.

HD Brows | Blush & Bronzer

I think everyone knows what HD brows do, but the brand is now introducing a blush and bronzer range for Summer 2013. The pressed powder blush is a soft burnt rose shade that is meant to suit all skin tones while the bronzer is great for both adding a sun-kissed looks and for contouring.

They are on the pricey side of things at £17.95 for the blush and £19.95 for the bronzer, but the products that have come previously to this have been amazing quality so I think we can expect the same from these.

Maybelline Mega Plush & New Colour Tattoo Eyeshadows

I've been waiting for the pomegranate shade of the Color Tattoos to hit the UK since I saw them in the US. I cannot wait to get my hands on this, and it releases in Superdrug today.  A navy shade is also hitting the shelves.

The Mega Plush mascara has had rave and pretty bad reviews so I can't wait to give it a go to pass on my opinions too. Maybelline are hit and miss with mascaras for me, so hopefully this will be a hit.

Rimmel Lycra Flex Scandel Eyes

The bright green tube will catch your eye, and the fact that it's great for contact lens wearers will keep you interested. It's meant to keep lashes from getting hard and brittle while giving ultra great volume.

I can't say whether it lives up to expectations when it's released. You can get it for £6.99 in Superdrug from today onwards.

Barry M Confetti Top Coats

Every one and their mum went a bit crazy over the confetti top coat from L'Oreal, and Barry M see to be following suit and releasing a range of their own. I personally prefer the Barry M ones because they are more my colours. You can check out reviews and swatched over on the Sunday Girl here, but I have to say that Sour Apple is one I'm going to keep and eye out for. You can get your mitts on these from June 5th in Superdrug, and 12th June in good ol' Boots.

So, what are you awaiting the release of? I would love to know!

PS: All lashes and cosmetics are now on mix and match 3 for 2 in Superdrug for the next month or so.

April Favourites 2013 | Soap and Glory, Chanel & More

Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream in Medium, Yardley Royal English Daisy Hand Cream, Soap and Glory Glow Job, Maybelline Fit Me Concealer in 15, Cosmopolitan Beauty Blender, YSL Rouge Voluptue Shine Lipstick in 8 Pink In Confidence, MUA Liquid Liner in Brown, MaxFactor Masterpiece Max Mascara, Maybelline Fit Me Powder in 120, Daniel Sandler Waterproof Liner in Black Velvet, MAC Pro-Longwear Blusher in Stay Pretty and Chanel Coco Mademoiselle.

Another month has past, and we are all that much closer to summer actually appearing! Today, I have a post all about the things I've been loving in the month of April.

Maybelline BB Cream in Medium, £7.99 (link)

I use this on super natural days, or as a primer when I want heavier coverage. I'm using Medium at the moment to give my skin a bit of a boost in the colour department as summer approaches but light has been a favourite of mine since it was released.

Maybelline Fit Me Concealer in 15 , £5.99 (link)

I love this concealer, and I use it for all of my problem areas. It conceals blemishes, under-eye circles and redness. It lasts all day and the formula is brilliant. I did try this before and found the shade to be too dark, but who knew that the first shade (10) isn't the lightest. I found a lighter shade (15) and now it's perfect all round.

Maybelline Fit Me Powder in 120, £5.99 (link)

I love this powder. It;s a nice, light weight powder that sets my makeup without making it look cakey. It doesn't offer that much coverage which I actually like, and the shade works well with my lighter and darker foundations.

Cosmopolitan Beauty Blending Sponge (link)

No matter what foundation I used, this sponge works with it. Some of my brushes only work with certain foundations but this working with everything. It gives a nice flawless coverage without any caking and it even works with cream blushes to get a nice natural look on the skin.

Soap and Glory Glow Job  (link)

I picked this up when Soap and Glory was on 3 for 2 in Boots and fell in love. You need to make sure that you put this on in a mirror because of the bronzing beads in the lotion but it's a great 'radiance' mosituriser that is great for spring/summer. It's not a self tanner so don't fear, and it doesn't make you look like a TOWIE extra with the bronzing beads so don't fear either.

MAC Pro-Longwear Blush in Stay Pretty (link)

After hunting for a bright spring time blush, I found this beauty. It's a nice long wearing bright pink that lasts all day on my cheeks, is a nice fine milled powder and amps up a look. The colour is great for the spring summer time. I wear this with super simple eye makeup and nude lips to make it pop and it looks great.

Max Factor Masterpiece Max Mascara (link)

I love this mascara, and am about to go out and purchase the full size. I for this in a little Max Factor gift set, and am so glad that I got to try it. It's a nice rubber wand that allows you to get super black and voluminous lashes. It can clump a little bit to much if you want more than 2 layers, but two layers is great for super amped up lashes.

YSL Rouge Volupte Shine Lipstick in 8 Pink in Confidence (link)

I picked this up at the #LDNBBMeet and have worn it nearly every day since. The colour is easy just to throw on with almost any look. It's nice and moisturizing, not drying in anyway and it stays on my lips. The colour is not to nude that you look dead, but also nude enough that it works perfectly everyday.

MUA Liquid Eyeliner in Brown (link)

I'm trying to get away from black liner for the summer, and this is my way of weaning myself off of it. It's a great liquid liner with a nice felt tip type brush. It's only £1, and it lasts all day on my eyes. It doesn't flake or smudge once it's dry, and the brown is just less harsh than black while still giving a nice definition to the eyes.

Daniel Sandler Velvet Eyeliner in Black (link)

Even though I just said that I am trying to get away from black, I cannot give up my black liner in my water line just yet! This liner is amazing! It is super pigments, creamy but not to creamy, and it lasts all day. It's really black, and I love that its twist up. I never sharpen pencils, I just go find another one so a twist up  one is perfect for me.

Yardley Royal English Daisy Hand Cream (link)

Review HERE

This hand cream is great, but it's the scent that's my favourite. I adore this scent from Yardley and have the EDT in my bag at all times. I want the shower gel and body lotion just to smell like this all the time. It's a nice light, young, floral scent perfect for spring/summer.

Chanel Coco Mademoiselle (link)

Oh, where have you been all my life? This is the perfect scent for me. It lasts ages on the skin, it's a nice mature scent without making you smell like your nan or something and it's chanel. You only need 1 spray to smell like this all day, and the scent is gorgeous.

Best Drugstore Neutral Eyeshadow Palettes | Sleek, B, MUA and more

Beautysets - Best Drugstore Neutral Eyeshadow Palettes

Sleek i-Divine Palette in Au Natural (link)

I'm sure everyone has heard of Sleek and their brilliant eyeshadow palettes. They are great quality, with great pigmentation, blendablity and lasting power. The packaging is great. It's sturdy with a nice big mirror for travel and on the go touch ups. They are sneaking up in price but if you are on the look out for a brilliant neutral palette for under £10 this "Au Natural" palette from Sleek is worth the investment.

Beauty UK Eyeshadow Palette in No4 Earth Child (link)

This is a palette and brand that if often overlooked in my opinion. These little palettes aren't going to beat out MAC or Urban Decay but they are great value for money at only £3.99 for 8 shadows, and come in a nice range of colours. Earth Child is a great selection of neutrals with hints of khaki for those who want something other than brown.

B.Complete Eyeshadow Palette in 132 Glisten (link)
 B. is quite a new brand to Superdurg, and is brilliant. I have quite a few reviews of the brand and I love nearly everything I've tried from them. The eyeshadows are great quality with nice pigmentation, good blendability and long wear. Glisten is a great group of 4 shadows that complement each other well and create a nice neutral look.

MUA Professional Palette in Undressed (link)
Everyone and their dog have given this and it's follow up counterpart a go. Undressed, and Undressed Me Too are only £4 each and contain 12 eyeshadows each that are very close dupes for the Urban Decay Naked and Naked 2 Palettes. They are great quality for the price, and are great for almost any occasion.

Maybelline Eye Studio Palette in Bronze Drama (link)
Maybelline are my favourite brand in the drugstore. They have something great in almost all categories and their eyeshadows are no exception. The eye studio palettes are four complementary shadows and Bronze drama is great every day palette that can create beautiful looks on the eye.
