Maybelline Lust List | Elixers, Brow Drama and Lots of Lashes

I love shopping in the drugstore, and I love watching hauls on youtube. So, from my love of cheap makeup and my love of hauls, this little post was born. They are very much like Wish Lists but to mix it up a little I'm calling it a Lust List (ohh I know, so original :p). Enjoy the 5 things I've been lusting after from Maybelline.
maybeline

Great Lash Lots of Lashes
I haven't tried the original great lash mascara but the wand of the Great Lash Lots of Lashes looks intriguing and is something I would love to try. This, unfortunately, isn't avalible in the UK, but I think I'll search ebay to see if I can find a new tube for a decent price and shipping fee. If you have tried this, please let me know if it worth trying to find.
Price:$4.44 Link

Master Hi-Light by Face Studio
I don't often wear blush on a day to day to basis, but I do love a good highlight.  I wear it without fail everyday to bring light and some dimension to my face. The idea of these blush/highlight combos really intrigues me. I think they can add the highlight effect I love and add a little bit of colour to the cheeks that you naturally have as the colder months draw in. I hope these launch over in UK soon so I can give them a try.
Price: $7.94 Link

Brow Drama Brow Gel
I've been getting into brows a lot lately. The more I play with them the more I realise how much they can make or break a look. I've been trying to find the perfect combo of products like a pencil and gel or powder and wax. I haven't quite found anything holy grail yet but I have heard some good things about this gel so I really want to give it a go. I think I might have to pick up the dark blonde shade next time I head into a Boots or Superdrug store and Maybelline is on offer.
Price:£4.99 Link

Maybelline Colour Elixirs by Colour Sensational Lip Colours
I have been seeing these colour gloss beauties on american beauty channels for ages, and now they have finally launched in the UK. They are on BOGO half off in Superdurg at the moment so I think I'm going to have a swatch of the colours and see which two would be best for me. From the 1 I've swatched so far they seem conditioning, glossy, pigmented and long lasting. Let me know if you have tried these, and what you think. Should I get two next time I'm in town?
Price:£6.99 Link: Not Online Yet

Big Eyes Volum' Express Mascara
I love a good mascara, and I'm a bit like a mascara floozy. I never really get the same one twice, so on my mascara trails I would love to try this. I like that you get two different wands, and can use them for different effects. I normally love maybelline mascaras so I think I'll like this, so next time I see it on offer I think I'll snap it up.

Revlon Lust List | Photo Ready, Moisture Stains and ColourStay Liners

Revlon is probably one of my favourite brands from the drugstore, and their stand out products for me are the lip products they offer. I have tried their face and eye products before, but would love to try more. Here is my lust list from Revlon at the moment, and it lists products I want to try for the first time or a product that I want to try more shades of it.

revlon wishlist

Revlon Photoready Foundation
I've been wanting to try the Revlon Photo Ready Foundation for the longest time. I adore the Colour Stay for dry skin, and this was just as raved about back in the day. It does have small shimmer particles so tread carefully but I really want to see how this works on my dull skin.

Revlon Shadow Links Eyeshadows
I've had a love hate relationship with Revlon shadows, and I've not heard the best things about the Shadowlinks but I still really want to try them. I want to see if they can work for me and the concept is a really cool idea for me so I kind of want to buy into the gimicky packaging. They are only £2.99 a pop to so I won't be loosing TOO much.

Revlon ColourStay Liquid Eyeliner
I've been trying liner more and more recently but have yet to find my holy grail liner. I have some that go on really well but fade or flake off. I have found some that last well but are a bitch to apply. I'm hoping that this sort of formula combined with the felt tip nib will help me find what I need.

Revlon ColourStay Moisture Stains
I have one of these in a coral-pink sort of shade, but I really would love to try more. The darkest shade looks gorgeous, and something I'll grab closer to winter. The red looks promising so I think I'll try that next. They aren't that much of a stain, but the finish and lasting power for that sort of finish is nice.

Revlon Bold Lacquer Mascara
I tried the grow luscious from Revlon when it hit shelves, and I found it to be a nice mascara. I would love to try other mascaras from them and the deep colour promised with this is something that appeals to me. I find revlon mascaras a bit to expensive for me from the drugstore, but when it does on offer I think I will try this mascara out.

Candle Wishlist

While I do adore the fruitier and summer scents that candle companies offer but I really don't use them in the summer time.

Colder months for me = candles, more specifically Christmas scents. Something about the cinnamon infused scents and gorgeous red colours makes me want to buy ALL the candles EVER.

So, with that in mind I was searching the Yankee Candle website and put together a little wishlist of things I've been lusting after since it's gotten a little chillier here in London.

Medium Jar Candle | Sparkling Cinnamon | £9.99
I cannot think of winter or Christmas without thinking of spicy, cinnamon scents so this candle is a must have for me. The nice red colour makes my room just a touch more festive, and the scent is just freakin gorgeous!

Gingerbread Triple Tea Light Holder | £12.95
I just couldn't not put this cute little thing in this wishlist. Is it not the cutest little candle holder ever? I think it's adorable and would a perfect addition to any Christmas dec's you might have. Obviously it wouldn't be the best for right now, but come December I might just have to invest in this little bad bay.

Wax Tart | Red Apple Wreath | £0.94
If you have never tried a wax tart, from Yankee Candle or another brand, I urge you to go grab a tart and warmer right now. They really aren't that expensive, and the tarts last for ever. The scent pay off is just so much better than a regular candle, and it works out cheaper in the end as well. Red Apple Wreath is a great fruity scent that is perfect for someone who wants a Christmas scent without anything foody like spices or cookies.

Tea Lights | Cherries In Snow | £5.06
Sometimes, burning a huge candle isn't practical. To get the burn evenly you have to burn them long enough to make sure it all melts and you don't get dips in the wax. With tea light you get that scent you get with bigger jar candles but they are cheap, and small so you don't have to burn them for a long time.  Cherries in the snow is a new scent to me so can't wait to get my hands on some of these to see if it makes my room smell great!

Large Jar Candle | Black Cherry | £14.99
Black Cherry is my all time favourite scent from Yankee Candle and why it might not be the most festive scent or anything that makes your think of warm, snuggly nights, I love my room to smell like this so  it's always something I invest in when it gets to "candle season".

Soap and Glory Wishlisht

Soap and Glory is such a cult brand at the moment. I think nearly every blogger could rave about at least one of their products, and I’m sure most are in love with a whole range of things they have to offer.  It’s not the most expensive brand out there by any means but it’s not the cheapest either. I’d love to have a huge collection of their products, but for now I’m going to settle with slowly building it up and lusting after their other offerings.

For Daily Youth £12.00 for 50ml

The For Daily Youth moisturizing lotion is a 6 in 1 “superboost” lotion that is formulated to help fight the appearances of lines and wrinkles and to help maximize moisture levels.  It claims to give the skin a more radiant ‘glow’. I don’t really need help with the appearance of lines and wrinkles, but I love anything that claims to give me a more radiant complexion. I’ll be saving up for this bad boy!

    Dr Spot £8.00 for 15ml

The Dr Spot Invisible Spot Fighting Gel claims to be a light and clear gel that contains salicylic acid and lactic acids that are meant to fight spots without drying out the skin. I always get the occasion breakout on my chin, not matter what I do to try and prevent them, but having dry skin generally it’s hard to find something that fights the spots without drying my skin out even more. I’d love to try this and see if it really fights without drying.

One Heck of a Blot £12.00 for 9g

The One Heck of a Blot is an oil absorbing / shine controlling powder that claims to be super translucent, mattifying and ultra light.   It’s meant to give the face a smooth and velvety finish without caking makeup. I’d love to try this because I wear  a quite heavy duty foundation, and don’t need the extra coverage of a powder but do need the setting effects and oil absorbing properties that a powder offers. This sounds perfect for me, so I’d love to give it a go.

Sugar Crush Body Wash £6.50 for 500ml

Everyone and there mother have raved about this body wash. I’ve never really been picky with body wash because you just wash it off but I really want to see what the fuss is about this beaut. It carries a citrus scent which I adore, and it claims to be energizing, revitalizing and refreshing on the skin so it sounds like and all round good package deal.

The Righteous Butter £10.50 for 300ml

I think this has to be the most famous Soap and Glory product, no? It’s a best seller, won a few awards and is a firm favourites of quite a few people. I’m shocked I haven’t tried this yet, and with my dry skin I think the thick formula of a body butter will certainly be suitable for me. It contains softening shea butter and aloe vera along with a gorgeous scent.

Eau De Soap and Glory £16.50 for 50ml

This Eau De Toilette is scented with the famous Mist You Madly scent. It has notes of bergamot, cassis, magnolia, freesia, vanilla and musk. I love the Mist You Madly scent and I’ve been wanting to try a soap and glory fragrance for quite some time. This sounds perfect for me and it’s not too expensive for a perfume.

The Fab Pore Hot Cloth Cleanser £10.00 for 100ml

The Fab Pore Hot Cloth Cleanser is a 3 in 1 concentrated deep purifying formula that is meant to clean, smooth and melt makeup away. It has sweet almond, orange and lavender oils. You get a free muslin cloth to rinse off the cleanser. I love hot cloth cleanser, and the Fab Pore range so this might just be perfect for me. I’d love to give that a go so it might be my next investment after I’ve used my current cleansers up.

Whipped Clean Shower Butter £8.00 for 250ml

The Whipped Clean Shower Butter is a shower gel and moisturiser all in one little tube. It’s made up of 25% moisturising oils and butters. It’s fragranced with pistachio, almond and sweet vanilla.  I never moisturise my body. I’m so bad at it. To be honest, I kind of hate the feeling of moisturiser on my skin so this sounds like it could really help me out.

    Benefit Cosmetics Wish List

Benefit was one of the first higher end brands that I brought makeup from, as I really do love their products but over the last few years I've just stopped buying from them! I need that to change because the gorgeous/quirky packaging coupled with the great products means they should be something I'm looking at all the time!

So, to rekindle my love affair with the brand I'm bringing you a wishlist of all the things I desperately want to try.

    Erase Paste, £19.50, link

This is raved about left right and centre and it's something I've been meaning to pick up. I love a good concealer, and this sounds like it ticks all the boxes!

    Hervana Boxed Powder, £23.50, link

I've tried one boxed powder from benefit before and love it, so I really want to try more of the colours on offer. I love the look of Hervana and Coralista is a close second on the lust list.

Ultra Plush Lip Gloss, £14.50, link

With summer supposedly approaching, I've been getting into lip glosses a lot more. I love a glossy and simple lip in the summer and these sound great! I'd love to give one a try, so one of these might be my next lip gloss investment.

Stay Flawless 15 Hour Primer, £24.50, link

Once again, with summer just around the corner I want to hide the powder! I love a dewy look in the summer, but without powder my foundation just doesn't stay put. I'd love to find a primer that really holds my foundation in place, and this sounds like it could do the trick.

Fake Up Concealer , £18.50, link

I think this might be the latest offering from Benefit and every time I even go near a counter I hear the staff raving about it. I'm not normally one to fall for something being pushed on me, but this just sounds to good to be true! I think I'll try this, instead of repurchasing my trusty MAC pro-longwear concealer.

    Oh La Lift, £17.50, link

This embodies everything I love in a product. I know that sounds strange but the one things I really love about makeup is things that give my skin a glow. I love things like Hocus Focus from Soap and Glory, and I would love to try this to see if it can give the boosted more radiant effect.

Creasless Cream Eyeshadows, £15.50 , link

My eyeshadows have been creasing like mad recently, so I've been looking into what kind of bases I could use to stop the dreaded effect. I've used the old creasless cream shadows and loved them, so I'd love to give the new range a go.

Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow Foundation, £25.50, link

I've seen a few people wearing this foundation and just loved how it looks on the skin. I'm not sure if it was just their fab skin or the foundation, but I'd love to try even just a sample of this to see if it could work for me.

    Brow Zings, £23.50, link

Brows finish a look. I've only just recently learned this. I've started focusing on my brows as parts of my morning beauty routine and it's changed the way my makeup looks. I've tried a few products, but am still on the look out for my holy grail. This might just be it considering the things I've heard about it on the blogs I've read.

    Eyebrow Pencil, £15.00, link

I've found pencils great for my brows if I don't have time to faff about with powder and gel. They allow you to create a nice shape, and most importantly, they allow you to do it quickly! Benefit are half known for their great brow products, so I think this might check the boxes of what I look for in a brow pencil!

    Bomb Cosmetics Wishlist

Bomb Cosmetics are a company that offer very similar products to Lush at similar and sometimes even cheaper prices.
Today, for Wishlist Wednesday, I'm bringing you my wishlist of things I'm lusting after from the brand at the moment!

Crazy Chic Bath Mallow £2.24 link

I love the Bath Mallow from Lush, but I feel like they don't have a big range in that texture of product. Bomb Cosmetics have a huge selection of Bath Mallows, and this one just looked super cute.

Mandarin Sunset Whoopie Blaster £2.99 link

If I could pick a favourite scent of all time, it would have to be the Satsuma scent from the Body Shop. Anything with an orange/mandarin scent reminds me of that and I love it! Not only does this sound like it would smell amazing, but it looks really quirky with the blue and orange mixed together.

Lime On Bath Creamer £2.09 link

Now that summer has hit, I've been loving those really refreshing scents. Lime just screams summer to me, so this sounds like something I'd like to smell. I also love the idea of a creamer for the bath, because I have dry skin so any extra moisture I can get is needed.

Rosy Cheeks Facial Scrub £7.99 link

I have dry skin which means I love scrubs for helping bet rid of any flakes I might get. This is a lotion based scrub and I need all the help I can get when it comes to injecting moisture into my skin! It sounds like it smells fab too!

    Rhassoul Mud Mask £7.99 link

I'm on a face mask binge at the moment, and the ingredients in this sound like they could help out my skin. I love a good mud mask so that's a win too. I think I could use this in a triple threat face mask routine, and totally get better skin.

Orange Blossom Car and Room Fragrancer £2.00 link

I love orange scents, as I've said before, so this appeals to me. I don't have a car, but use these in my wardrobe to keep my clothes smelling fresh. I'd love to give this one a go to see if lives up to my beloved Yankee Candles ones I'm using at the moment.

Cherry Bathe-Well Bath Blaster £2.09 link

Honestly, the cute name and image of this makes me want this more than anything else. Cherry scents are appealing to me, and I'd love to give this a go.

Juicy Pineapple Intense Lip Treatment £2.49 link

Doesn't something described as Juicy Pineapple just sound so much better than my usual boring old lip balm. I would love to give this, or one of their other lip treatments a go because they sound amazing!

    Honey Hair Mask £8.99 link

I love a good hair mask. Because my hair is really damaged, curly and frizzy I use one every time I wash my hair. I have found some really amazing masks in my time, but I still haven't found my holy grail hair savior. This mask has the potential to be the product though, so I would love to try it.

Lemon Meringue Delight Soap Cake £2.49 link

I love anything with a lemon or citrus scent, to the idea of this appealed to me instantly. The "cake" looks really nice for soap, and I love novelty soaps so this is right up my street.

Head Over Heels | Current Shoe Wish List

Recently, shoes have become a love of mine. I never used to care to much about what I put on my feet, but after trying to get a little more fashion savvy, I've found that they can make or break an outfit!

So, with all that being said, I wanted to bring you my shoe wishlist!

    1) Black Metal Tip Shoe Boots, New Look, £29.99 link

I love a white shoe, even if they only look really great for about a weeks. These cute heels from New Look are cream, and have a cute bow accent and, in my opinion, avoid looking like a wedding shoe. The heel isn't too high, so they could work for the day but the heel is there so it can make a great night out shoe too!

    2) Cream Lace Bow Court Heels, New Look, £22.99 link

I find that these boot like shoes are often the most comfortable. Out of all my heels, the ones in this design are the ones that I can last the night in. They mostly come in black designs like this one, but I like the hints of metallic colour on the toe and back. The heel does look quite killer, but for a dinner or something sitting down most of the time, these will make your legs look fabulous.

    3) Blue Floral Print Denim Ballet Pumps, New Look, £12.99 link

These floral flats are something that appeal to the inner girly young person inside of me. I love having a nice  pattern flat to spice up a slightly boring outfit like skinny jeans and a simple tee. They look comfortable, and the colour is great and will go with quite a lot.

    4) Chains and Studs Embellished Trainers, Everything Five Pounds, £5.00 link

I used to live in trainers, but since finding my slightly more feminine side I've kind of given them up. When I saw these, I just found myself lusting after them. They have a nice edge to them with the studs. The high top design is something that really appeals to me, and the colour is great for a number of different outfits.

    5) Canvas Loafers, H&M, £12.99 link

When I saw these, I wanted them right away. They cute drawing on the slipper design shoe is brilliant! They have a nice quirkiness to them without being over the top. The colour isn't too dark for the summer, but the grey can transfer to the autumn/winter too.

    6) Metal Fitting Bow Small Wedge Shoes, Everything Five Pounds, £5.00 link

I can't pull off this shade of blue, but I love the shade. I thought in a shoe, it would be easier to pull off and it would give me a chance to own something in a colour I adore! The design is something I've worn before so I know it looks great with most of my clothes. The  very slight wedge means you they can be great for day wear, but I think they have a slight dressy feeling too them which means I would wear these out at night.

Birthday Wishlist: Illamaqua, Freckles and Gilbert and More

My birthday is fast approaching and I'm exiting my years a teenager reluctantly. I think I might be saying I'm "twenteen" until my 21st because I really don't not want to be a teen anymore!

Anyway, with a birthday comes my birthday wishlist! I haven't written a list of things I wanted for my birthday since I was maybe 7 so this was strange but these are the things that I would love as a birthday treat, and I thought I'd share them with you all.

    Illamasqua Satin Primer

I'm going to hold Sprinkle of Glitter responsible for me lusting after this. I heard her mention it in a video, and then did a little research. I now really want this bad boy because it sounds like everything I could want in a primer and more!

    Rhianna Nude

I'm not normally a huge fan of Rhianna fragrance but when I smelt Nude for the first time, I knew I had to have it. It's a gorgeous vanilla type scent, and I just love it. I find it strange buying perfume for myself, so I'm hoping to get it as a gift. I've dropped enough hints at the parents, so I hope I wasn't too subtle and get this for my birthday.

    Freckles and Gilbert Laptop Case

Ever since I won a Kindle case from Freckles and Gilbert, I've been lusting after more things from them. The laptop cases that they offer are gorgeous, and I'd love to have something like that to carry my laptop in rather than my boring quick silver black case I have now!

    Makeup Forever HD Foundation

Everyone and their mother has heard about this right? It's meant to be the best thing since sliced bread and everyone seems to love it. I don't think I've heard anything negative about it and although it's hard to get a hold of I really want to try it out! I mean it's the foundation that Kim Kardashian supposedly uses and who doesn't want skin that looks like KimK's?

    Macadamia Deep Repair Mask

I've wanted to try something, anything, from the Macadamia range for quite some time. I first heard about the brand from AllThatGlitters21, or Elle Fowler, and have lusted after the deep repair mask ever since. It's a bit pricy, but if it does all the amazing things people claim that it might just be worth the investment.

    Ren Products

I've heard nothing but amazing things about Ren and there are so many products from them that I want to try. I might even do a Ren wishlist because I could write about wanting to try them all day! They aren't cheap, but from what I've read they work so I hope I get a chance to try these in the future.

    MUA Makeup Acadamy

I love MUA and even though it's cheap and chips when you want everything it all adds up. I have a brand review here, and see just how much I love just about everything I've tried from them! I really want to try some more things from the brand.

    Antipodes Face Mask

I've been loving face masks recently, and I've heard some great things about this brand. I've wanted to try the honey mask for ages because I think it would work amazingly well for my skin!
