The powder isn't like some other drugstore powders I've tried. It feels high end in texture and appearance on the skin. It's isn't chalky in anyway and it just glides on the skin without caking or ruining your foundation. The only word I can think of to describe the texture it's buttery. It's silky soft and smooth, and I like using it.
It offers a decent coverage for a powder, and if you wanted to I'm sure you could use it alone for just a slight evening of your skin tone. Over foundation, it works brilliantly too. It keeps my foundation in place, and mattifys the skin too. It doesn't dull out the skin though like some powders, but it does help oil control and lasting power.
I'm not a fan of the packaging. It's too big for my liking. It's much longer than it needs to be, and the white shows up all my finger prints on it from where I put the powder on, or from my foundation. It does feel nice a secure though, so I don't worry about it opening and messing up my other makeup when I carry it about.
The compact does have a mirror thought which is great if you carry this around to touch up your makeup. It could be bigger considering the size of the compact but it works well enough for something that was only £7.99.
Overall, I would recommend this powder. You can pick it up for £7.99 in most drugstores, or online here!

I really want to try this powder I've heard so many good things about it x
ReplyDeleteIt's really great. It offers some coverage, sets makeup and is super 'buttery' in texture too. Not to chalky.
