Khloe Kardashian Beauty Must Haves | Nars, Lancome and Cetephil

Say what you want about the Kardashians, but you have to admit that they all look pretty darn stunning all the time. Their makeup is somewhat of an inspiration for me, with Khole's being top of that list.  So, today I have a quick post just discussing some of the beauty products Khloe Kardashain uses to create her almost always flawless makeup looks.

So, to kick it off lets start with skincare. Apparently, Khole uses the Pro-Active system with La Mer moisturizer and the Cetaphil gentle cleanser being added into the routine. The La Mer cream is crazy expensive, and something I cannot foresee myself trying. I do want to try Cetaphil products because I can have sensitive skin. Pro Active isn't for me because I don't have acne or breakouts that need treating with such a harsh regime.

Now for lashes. Enormous Lash is a growth serum she uses for healthy, long and stong lashes and to get an even more dark and dramatic look she uses the Lancome Hypnose Mascara.

Lips are a big deal for the Kardashian sisters. They tend to go for the more nude look, and like sister Kim, Khloe is also a fan of the ever famous Nars Turkish Delight Lipgloss. The summer time brings about more true nude shades for Khloe, but she also does enjoy pink and peach shades.

Finally, lets talk bronzer. Kourtney Kardashian uses the Nars bronzer in Casino, but Khloe apparently goes for the lighter (and more famous) Nars Laguna bronzer which is an all time favourite of mine. It looks matte, without being flat. It isn't too cool toned or to orange and it blends beautifully over the skin. I would highly recommend trying it, even if you are as pale as paper. I can use it and I resemble the colour of Casper The Friendly Ghost most of the time.

I hope you liked this post. I have some similar for Kim (Link HERE) and Kourtney (Link HERE) if you are interested. I also did something like this for the stunning Cheryl Cole (Link HERE) if you want to give that a read.

Thanks for reading, and come back soon for more posts.

Kourtney Kardashian Makeup & skincare Must Haves

Whether you love them, or hate them I don't think many can deny that the Kardashian family are beautiful. I know Kim gets the majority of the attention (something I'm sure she loves), Kourtney and Khloe are actually beauty icons for me. I don't think there has been a time when I don't adore their makeup, so I thought I would bring to you attention some of the products they use to get their glam looks.

Nars Sin Blush and Nars Casino Bronzer (£30)

Nars Sin and Casino are apparently favourites of the eldest sister. Casino is similar to the ever popular Laguna, but more suited to darker complexions. It's a great bronzer for adding warmth to the skin, and for contouring the face on a day to day basis. Sin is a great berry tones blusher and again something suited to darker complexions like the Kardashians. I adore Nars quality, so this is something that appeals to me. I think I might stick to the Orgasm and Laguna duo for my pale complexion though.

Laura Merceir Oil Free Tinted Mosituriser (£33)

Kourtney appears to have great skin, and full coverage foundation isn't needed for everyday. A simple tinted moisturizer evens out the skin and gives natural look to the skin. The Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer is adored my many including Miss Kardashian, who opts for the Oil Free option.

Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream (£25)

Kourtney is one of the strange people that adores the scent of the 8 Hour Cream. I personally hate it, and would opt for the fragrance free option but it's still a miracle product. I've heard that she uses it on her lips, but the balm can be used on dry patches and problem areas if you need too.

Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage Concealer (£26)

I used the hear about the Secret Camouflage Concealer everyone. It was raved about all over YouTube, but has since died off or at least people speaking about it has become a rare occurrence. Kourtney hasn't given up on this old favourite yet though and uses it to concealer any imperfections of the skin or under the eyes.

Lancome Definicils Mascara (£22) and Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler (£20)

Kourntey Kardashian opts for a classic mascara to keep her lashes looking lush. While some people might be more taken with the Hypnose range, the Definicils is one of the originals from Lancome. It offers length over volume, but lasts all day when you need it too. Used in combination with the adored Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler, Kourtney's lashes are great!

If you want to see what makeup Kim Kardashian wears and swears by, then check out this post where I explain all about her supposed favourites.

What Makeup Does Cheryl Cole Wear? | Cheryl Cole Makeup, Skincare & Nail Essentials and Must Haves

When Cheryl Cole was on the X-Factor, I could guarantee that I was going to want to know what was on her face. Let's face it, whether you like her as a singer or TV personality or not, you have to admit that she is stunningly beautiful.

I know they lovely Cheryl is a spokeswoman for L'Oreal so I know that when I'm told she's wearing L'Oreal it's because she's paid to wear it. I always wondered what she generally loved, so after a little (far to much) research, I've found some makeup that Cheryl Cole likes to wear.

The L'Oreal Glam Shine lip gloss is apparently a staple for Cheryl. According to her she prefers the shade number 5 called Mercury Crystal. I adore these lip glosses myself. They are beautifully glossy yet they lack the stickiness I've found with many drugstore lip glosses. They last a nice amount of time for a lip gloss, and even thought they are on the expensive end of things for drugstore they aren't THAT expensive.

The Nars Multiple in Orgasm apparently what give Cheryl Cole her radiant complexion. I've heard amazing thins about these multiples and would love to try them.

Dermologica is a skin care favourite of many, and makeup artists love the brand. They are on the pricy side of things, but it works. Cheryl Cole's makeup artist uses the brand on her, and the Ultra Calming Cleanser is a stand out favourite.

The Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse OR multi-usage dry oil is another favourite of Cheryl. The oil adds a radiant glow to the skin, but if you are looking for a cheaper alternative try the Honey Bronze oil from the Body Shop.
When I think about Cheryl Cole's eye makeup, I think smokey eye. I think it's her go to look, and she pulls if off really well. Lisa Eldridge, who did Cheryl makeup when she was featured on the cover of Vogue, used the L'Oreal Colour Appeal Mono Chrome Shine Eyeshadow in Starry Black to create the smokey eye she wore.

She herself has said she will not be without the L'Oreal Telescopic False Lash mascara, and of course a good mascara completes the look. I have tried this myself and find it great if you have nice lashes. I didn't find it great when my lashes were in bad condition. It's quite expensive but most drugstore mascara are now, so it's about the same as other brands.

Nail polish is something that can make an outfit/look. Cheryl Cole is said to love both simple, subtle nails and dark, vampy nails. Essie Ballet Slippers is a blogger favourite as well as Cheryl's. The simple milky pink leaves nails looks perfectly manicured, and doesn't totally break the bank. The dark collections from Zoya are also a favourite of hers. The deep, metallic purple colours are stands out from the collection, and are great for vampy nails.

Nars Eyeshadow Duo in Alhambra | Review and Swatches

The Nars Duo Eyeshadow in Alhambra is a duo including a "metallic rose mist" shade, and a golden champagne colour in a formula that made of micro fine powders

They claim to be highly pigmented, long wearing and crease resistant. They are meant to glide on evenly and blend without effort, while give you whatever look you want.

This eyeshadow duo is gorgeous. Not only are the colours beautiful but the packaging is gorgeous as well.

The two colours that come in this duo are brilliant highlight colours as well as all over lid colours. You can create a nice subtle look with these shadows alone, but they can be used in combination with other shadows to create a more dramatic look.

I find that these shadows wear all day on me without fading or creasing. I rarely use a primer, but if I do these last brilliantly on top of that as well. The wear time isn't different, but the vibrancy of these shades can be changed by putting them over a primer

These formulation of these shadows is amazing, better than any other shadow I've tired. They are 'creamy' in a way and just glide on, no matter which applicator I use. I've used even the most poor quality of the brushes but even they cannot ruin the brilliancy of this duo.  I find they have no fall out, the glide on and last all day.

The packaging is great, but can get really dirty. The rubber type feel of the compact feels lovely, but should your fingers be dirty or if you have left this is your makeup bag then it will get filthy. The compact feels luxurious, comes with a nice big mirror and feels secure too.

Overall, I would highly recommend trying out a Nars Eyeshadow Duo if you can. They are amazing quality, better than MAC, and when you think about the price it's not that much more expensive than MAC anyway. One standard MAC shadow is £12, and for two shadows here you are paying £25.

You can pick this Nars Duo Eyeshadow in Alhambra up at Nars counters or online here for £25.

Nars Laguna Bronzer Review & Giveaway

I was never really one for bronzers. I am ghostly pale, and the bronzers I tried tended to make me look like I'd been tangoed rather than warming up my skin tone a little, or contouring my face but after some research I found some bronzers that worked for me, and this is one of them,

Nars Laguna bronzer is a blogger cult favourite, and I can see why. It might be a little expensive, but it is worth it for many reasons. The first being that it feels nice and luxurious

. I know the packaging can get a little dirty, but the feel of the Nars packaging makes me feel like I have something nice to use. I like the fact that you get a ton of product, and you get a nice big mirror to use on the go.

The second thing I adore about this is the fact that it's not matte. I have been searching for a matte bronzer for so long, but after trying this I stopped looking. Matte bronzers that I've tried are nice, but they can make my skin look a bit dull. I don't use powder all the often, and with my dry skin I'm always using foundation that give me a dewy, glowy finish. Matte bronzers tended to take away from the glow that I wanted to achieve, but because this has really fine milled shimmer in it, it doesn't dull out the skin. It gives a nice glow but you don't look like a glitter ball.

The third reason that I adore this product is the colour. It's a nice brown bronzer, that doesn't make me go orange. I've gone over the top with this, and I still don't look like a towie extra. I use it for both bronzing and contouring because of that, and I haven't gone a day without it since buying it. It's nice to really shape the face for dramatics looks, and it's great to add some warmth to the face on a day to day basis.

I've heard so many people of different skin tones raves about this, so I'm certain it can work for darker skin tones too.

Overall this is just a fabulous product, and one that is totally worth the hype. It's not dull, orange or muddy. It works well on many skin tones, and it feels slightly more luxurious than other bronzers I've tired.

You can pick this up for £26 here, or in place with a Nars counter.  I also wanted to give one of my readers a chance to win one of these lovely products. It's just a small giveaway to say thanks for reading, and I wish you all good luck.

I'm also going to throw in a little gift bag of surprise goodies for the winner as well! Good Luck

Products I've Hit Pan On #1

products I've hit pan on
Products I've hit pan on: Nars Laguna Bronzer, Solait Maxi Bronzer in Golden Glow, B.Cheeky Blusher in Candy Cane, MUA Pearl Eyeshadow in Shade 1, Inglot Freedom System Concealer in LW100 and Sleek Au Natural Palette.
I was trying to figure out what kind of post to do,and realized I've never done anything like this before so I thought I would do a products I've hit pan on post. It gives you a chance to see the products I've been using a lot and you get to see what the products look like before they get into an empties post!

Nars Laguna Bronzer & Solait Maxi Bronzer in Golden Glow

Nars Laguna Bronzer

This is running out to fast for my liking. It's the most perfect bronzer for me, and I think I will repurchase despite the price tag. It isn't totally matte which is great but you don't glisten like a vampire when you wear it. It works for all over bronzing, and contouring too and it just works! It's amazing.

Solait Maxi Bronzer in Golden Glow

This was the first bronzer that I found that worked for my skin, and is my go to after Laguna. It's super cheap, and huge! It took me so long to hit pan, and I still have a huge amount of product left to use. I love this because it's matte but not dull on the skin and it's not too orange either. It's a repurchase for sure!

B. Cheeky Blusher in Candy Cane & MUA Pearl Eyeshadow in Shade 1

B. Cheeky Blush in Candy Cane

I haven't used another blush since I brought this one. It's the perfect pink blush for my skin tone, and it lasts all day. It's hard to over do this on the skin which I love because I'm very heavy handed and it's not that expensive. I love this, and am going to repurchase this next time I'm in a Superdrug! It's amazing.

MUA Pearl Eyeshadow in Shade 1

I use this for a few things because it's just gorgeous. I use it to highlight my face. It leaves a nice sheen on the skin, and it lasts all day. It's a great for pale skin, and is just slightly more intense than a regular face highlighter. I use this as an all over lid colour when I want to really focus on a dark crease colour. It adds a nice amount of colour without distracting from anything else. I also use it to highlight my eyes. It looks gorgeous with a smokey eye because it's so pigmented it just stands out like nothing else. I will repurchase this without even thinking, because it works and it's only £1.

Inglot Freedom System Concealer in LW100 & Sleek Au Natural Palette

Sleek Au Natural Palette

I got this palette when it first came out in a collection Sleek did, and I love it. It's a great neutral palette, and the two shades I hit pans on were the best by far. The only reason I haven't hit pan on more is because they are so pigmented that  you only need a little of them when I use them. The white is an amazing matte highlight shade, and it's one of my most reach for shadows in all of my collection. The nude, flesh tone shade is a great matte colour that you can use all over the lid, or to blend out other colours. It's almost gone, and I might repurchase the palette just for that colour.

Inglot Freedom System Concealer in LW100

I adore this concealer. I think it's the best under-eye concealer I've every tried and it's only £3.50. The colour I got was actually a mistake, because it looks nothing like this on the Inglot site, but it works so well under the eye that I'm glad I got it. I wear it everyday, and will repurchase it asap!

Bronzers for Pale People | Nars, Bourjois & More

I'm pale! I mean, like Caspar the Friendly Ghost pale. I think I manage to get that into every post somehow, so you probably know that but I wanted to share what products work for my skin tone.
Bronzers for Pale People
Bronzers for Pale People | Bourjous Bronzing Powder, Solait Maxi Bronzer, Nars Laguna Bronzer and GOSH Stippling Brush!
The first in the little mini-series I have on product for the pale people is bronzers. I've only just found bronzers that work for my skin, and I wanted to highlight which ones I love!

I'm not sure if the fact that I have major pink undertones in my skin will effect how bronzers looks on you but I thought I'd let you know in case it does.

The first thing about applying bronzers for me is finding the right brush to use. I found the best brush for getting the right amount of product on my skin, and for blending is a stippling brush. It gives a nice blended effect and it makes it a little harder for you to go OTT and look like an Umpa Lumpa. You don't have to fork out the big bucks to get these either. I know the MAC one is meant to be amazing but mine was a 99p clearance one from GOSH and I also have one that was about £3.50 from ELF. They work for me, so I won't be spending 10 times the amount of higher end brushes.

Now, on to the actual products!

1) Nars Laguna Bronzer
Nars Laguna Bronzer
Nars Laguna Bronzer, £26.00 link
I'm sure you've heard about this from everyone and their mum. It's a cult product, but it's so amazing. This is one of the few products I've brought and have really thought this is worth the hype

It's a great bronzer and I can work for so many skin tones. I thought this might be a bit to dark for me but with the stippling brush it just adds the most beautiful shape and warmth to the skin. You can build it up with a heavier hand, but with the stippling brush and on pale skin it adds shape and warmth, without that orange under tone that so many bronzers have. It also leaves the skin with a nice luminosity rather than mattifying it!

2) Solait Maxi Bronzer in Sun Glow

Solait Maxi Bronzer in Golden Glow
Solait Maxi Bronzer in Golden Glow £4.99 link
This is cheap, and cheerful. The was the first bronzer I found that worked for my skin, adds a nice warmth to skin without making you look like an extra from TOWIE and you get a huge amount of product.

This doesn't have any sparkles or anything like that in it,  but in a way similar to the nars product, it leaves the skin with a nice luminosity to it so you don't look very matte and dull. It's a nice brown colour, and it's not to orange. You can go a little over the top with this, which is why I sue this with a  stippling brush, but if you are careful it looks great!

3) Bourjois Delice De Poudre Bronzing Powder in 51
Bourjois Bronzing Powder in 51
Bourjois Bronzing Powder in 51 £6.99 link
This is somewhat of a cult product too. I actually got this as a secret santa present, and love it! It's a nice light shade, but it contains shimmer. I always thought, and hear people going on and on about how it's matte, but it's not! It has some quite obvious shimmer in it! But, despite the shimmer it doesn't make you look like an OTT glitter ball. It looks nice, and the only way you can see the shimmer is it you look for it. It's nice that it gives you a 'glow' and it adds definition to the face. I think that it might make you look a little orange with some foundations and skin tones, but with a light hand it looks great! It's cheap too!
