Sally Hansen Salon Effect Nail Polish Strips

Sally Hansen Salon Effect Nail Polish Strips claim to give you nails instant salon effect without any drying time. They are meant to wear just like nail polish except they are free of the drying time you get with normal polish. They claim to last up to 10 days, are easy to remove and they come in about 40 different styles.

I picked these up in TK Maxx for just £3.99 when they usually retail for --. I's heard some great things, and some not so great things about these and wanted to give them a go.

I've never used anything like this before so I followed the instructions down to a tee and at first they applied okay, but after an hour of wear they started to come off. They edges were peeling, little bits were chipping off and they were just a general annoyance

I'm not sure if they didn't work because I have bad nails, or if I did something wrong when applying them but they just didn't work for me. I managed to get a picture just after applying so you can see they were okay at first but they were all gone after an hour because I had to pull them off after they started peeling.

For me these just aren't worth the money. I would rather get something like imPress nails or just plain ol' nail polish.

You can pick these Sally Hansen Salon Effect Nail Polish Strips up in places like TK Maxx and I'm sure other places, and you can also pick them up online here for £7.99
